IT’s Charity Event time!
On Saturday, March 4th, we’re celebrating this site’s 2nd anniversary by hosting our fourth queer-led online charity event to raise $2,000 for Prism Collective, a Rainbow Refugee Circle of Hope. With TTRPG sessions, video game streaming and a silent auction, there are many ways you help us raise money for a good cause!

We have over one hundred reviews of books written by or about LGBTQIA2S+ people, plus book lists, author interviews, and reader recommendations.
TTRPGs
Whether you’re looking for a group to play TTRPGs with, want to read reviews of tabletop games, or want to try our original games, we’ve got you covered.
PODCAST
In DM’s Pocket Guide, we take one rule, spell, or monster from D&D 5e and discuss it in nine minutes or less.
WATCH US
Whether live on Twitch or anytime on YouTube, you can catch us streaming TTRPGs, video games, and interviews.
BLOG
Whether posting TTRPG reviews, walking challenges, or wedding updates, there’s something new on the blog every week.
EVENTS
We run biannual charity events, contribute to conventions, and occasionally host online and live events for other queer organizations.

Since our launch in March 2021, Roar Cat Reads has:
- Raised $11,913 for Rainbow Refugee with four queer and nerdy livestream charity events.
- Launched our podcast, DM’s Pocket Guide.
- Run event panels for Vancouver Pride Society, Dungeons & Do-Gooders, and Terminal City Tabletop Convention.
- Started a vibrant Discord community to discuss books, games, and pets.
